This Lincoln, NE home
is a excellent example of attention to detail. While most homeowners aren’t
concerned with the looks of their mechanical room, it is our favorite
place to shine. Excellence can not be rushed. There are a lot of pictures
in the “Un-finished” phase. Why? The attention to detail in
this home require the time for planning and execution. The fact that these
folks are extremely comfortable and have plenty of hot water is thanks
enough, but if you look closely, you will see what went into making their
house a comfortable home. The tubing and manifolds are placed and coordinated
for individual temperature control. The master suite has its own thermostat,
the walk-in shower and custom radiantly heated bench seats operate off
of their own thermostats. In all, 12 separate heating thermostats help
the homeowners to “dial-in” their own comfort level in every
part of this 8,000 sq/ft home.9,800 linear feet of PEX tubing was laid
to transfer heat into the floors, making them a perfect low-temperature
radiator which heats the whole house. We then applied controls, relay,
pumps, and a boiler to bring these separate components together. It would
be like bringing separate musical instruments together to form an orchestra.
Our goal is to listen to your needs, wants, and desires for your particular
structure, so that the orchestra you hear is the sound of an extremely
quiet, comfortable, and efficient system.
